A devotional I read recently from Jesus Calling:
"I am taking care of you. Trust me at all times. Trust me in all circumstances. Trust me with all your heart. When you are weary and everything seems to be going wrong, you can still utter these four words: 'I trust you Jesus.' By doing so, you release matters into my control, and you fall back into the security of my everlasting arms."
It sure is easy to read those words and think that I am good at trusting Jesus, but when the rubber meets the road, I have to admit that I am a control freak and I really do think that I could do a better job at planning my life than God can. Do I really trust that he is taking care of me at all times and in all circumstances??? I like to think so, and I guess the next fews days and weeks will tell...
Sweet Julia, this is Shirley, Danielle's mom. I just want to send congratulations to you, Cole and Claire on Matthew. And I want you to know that I am praying for him today. I love the scripture regarding God knowing Matthew while he was in your womb. He is an all knowing God and it is amazing that God loves him more than we ever know. Just thinking about you guys and praying for your sweet family
